Here is a short clip of Brayden perfecting his walking. He took his actual first steps on Feb. 21, but was still crawling as his primary mode of transportation until these past couple of days. He also is primping for the day.
Gabriella took a nasty spill at school yesterday while showing off her ballet moves in her classroom. Twirling is one of her favorite things to do and then WHACK! Face on the corner of a wooden table. Just under her eyebrow split right open. Preschool called and of course the one time my phone was left in my car for 5 minutes and I missed it. I was able to get to her quickly and then off to the ER. Thank goodness that we live so close to my in-laws because Fay was able to meet us at the ER to pick Brayden up so he wouldn't have to wait the grueling 3.5 hours for the whole procedure to be complete. I took pictures of the open wound on my phone but I can't send them to my e-mail. Gabriella was a trooper, she was calm the entire time except for the actual procedure, which took about 5-10 minutes. Brian, myself and a nurse has to restrain our baby girl. Something I hope to not have to do again. She screamed and screamed to where she turned purple and I thought she could pass out. If she knew any curse words she would have said them. She did yell "DANG IT!!!" several times and also yelled "I JUST HAVE TO SCREAM!!!!". When exiting everyone stared at us because they could here her throughout the entire ER. Now I giggle but at the time I was pretty upset. This was the first major accident in our household and I am sure not the last. I am proud of her and since we left the ER she hasn't complained to much of pain and has gone on with her normal busy self.
