First Day of 3 year Preschool

Gabriella's first day of Preschool was this morning at First Presbyterian. This is her second year at the wonderful preschool. She was Very excited to get back to school and a routine but once we got there she was a little nervous about the new class and teachers. She will be going 4 mornings a week, Tuesday-Friday, and 2 of the days she will stay at school for "Lunch Bunch" until 1 PM.

Notice the "Snow White" Princess shoes, she didn't wear them to school but all the way there!

Outside of her new classroom

Sitting in her cubbie, she had to show me how she could fit.

We had a great summer! I cannot believe how fast it came and went.

Gabriella is THREE! Oh My!!!!!

Not a little baby anymore, but will always be my baby!!!!!

Saturday was Gabriella's 3rd Birthday! I cannot believe how time flies. I remember when we brought her home from the hospital and felt unprepared for what our future was going to bring. She has brought so much joy and excitement to our everyday lives. These past three years have been filled with happiness and learning experiences.

She had a fun filled Birthday weekend. Brian is a HUGE supporter of Birthday weekends not just days. Friday evening we treated her to some fun at Check E Cheese's. Saturday we started off with presents. All princess! We headed out the door for some chicken minis at the Chick-fil-a Dwarf House, wearing Cinderella princess shoes, pictures at Target, I guess not too fun for her, and then headed to Garrett's 6th Birthday Pool party. After that we had a private birthday dinner and cake for the four of us. Sunday was the big Birthday Pool Bash. Some friends and family helped celebrate with us. Gabriella really enjoyed spending time with her preschool friends and of course Olivia & Jordan.

For about 6 months Gabriella has been asking for an Ariel birthday cake and never wavered from the idea. So when we when to pick it up, she gasped with her hands close to her mouth and said "ohhhhhh I'm so excited, my Ariel cake!". Of course at her party I didn't get many pictures but hopefully my personal paparazzi will send me some pictures, Brad!

Gabriella has been sleeping with this decoration every since Sun. She LOVES Ariel so much!

Girl's Trip to the Beach!

About a week ago I was able to take a weekend off of being Mommy and Wifey. What a great trip! I went with 5 fabulous friends to my in-laws condo in Panama City, thanks Fay & Wayne. We went out to dinner late and we even weathered Claudette! It was great being away but of course I missed my kids, all "3" of them!

Simple Things!

Why do we BUY toys for children when all they need is cardboard?

It's ELMO

Gabriella and Brayden got to visit with Elmo on Saturday at Kent's 1st Birthday, our family friend's from the beach.

6 Months old

On August 3, Brayden turned 6 months old. Hard to believe he is a 1/2 of a year old already! He will not get his official stats until Aug. 25. Having 2 kids, time management is VERY important! So kill 2 birds w/one stone, I have set both appointments, Brayden's 6 month and Gabriella's 3 year on the same day. He did weigh 20 lbs 8 oz on the 3rd.

Important things going on in Brayden's life-sitting up all by himself. I just worry he is going to slam his head on the floor. We have hardwoods throughout the first floor and rugs, so it isn't too cushy for him to topple over.

He is eating a lot of foods these days. Especially his veggies. Not too fond of fruit, but I believe that it because of his reflux and fruits are pretty acidic. I just mix it with his cereal and he eats it without screaming.

One more milestone, Brayden cut his first tooth yesterday. I can't believe my baby is cutting teeth already.

Random Pics

Random pictures from the summer. Nothing too crazy or exciting going on, just cute pics of the kids.
