Dancing Boy

Anytime there is any sort of beat or music on my kids are jamming out. Here is a short snip-it of Brayden starting to get his groove on.

Cuddle Buddies

I came home Sunday from being gone all afternoon and found these two, snuggled up asleep.

Some More Quotes

We were all having a conversation about how big Brayden was getting. Gabriella "He's a little big like Roddy White!" (Atlanta Falcons player)

Brian had a mustache for a couple of days, as you could see from an earlier post, and he was heading to work on that Monday. Gabriella "Are you going to where that mustache to work? They will think it is soooo silly."

While watching Monsters Inc., where the monsters use kid's screams for electricity, "like this? SCREAM!!! in the loudest possible scream, Gabriella foes "mines really loud!"

The Hanes sock commercial was on where the guy sticks his kid's feet in gook, she says, "they don't have a washing machine?".

Ahh...the true the Joys of Parenthood!

Indoor Snow Girl

Since Gabriella had been feeling pretty crummy the fast few days I was hoping to make it to the park on her new bike, but the weather stinks so we were inside, AGAIN. So I tried to be creative...ugg. I saw on a website that we can make indoor snowmen, and since I use to be a teacher , I already had all of the materials we needed. I got out all of the stuff we needed and we built ourselves an indoor Snow Girl. I helped with cutting paper, but Gabriella pretty much did it all by herself. I was very pleased that she was able to sit still and complete the project. Usually if something takes more than 10 minutes, she gets bored and wants to move on to another activity. She told me "Mommy, I like doing projects with you!"

Sick Girl!

Tuesday evening I noticed a rosy cheeked little girl lying on the couch and was absolutely still. When Gabriella is still, you know something is up. Sure enough Gabriella had a fever. Each following morning, Gabriella would wake up feeling great and ready to go, but 1.5-2 hours later she slowed down and would feel weak. It turned into a stomach thing. Hopefully she is better this weekend. She was zipping around tonight so we are hoping for the best.

First Snow (Ice) of 2010

We had our first snow/freeze last night. It is so cold my bones hurt. This morning we suited up and tried to take the kids out. Gabriella had a melt down about what she was going to wear, so at first she stayed in the house crying while we took Brayden out. Gabriella is pretty particular about how clothes feel on her body, and she was not feeling the whole layer, snow suite thing. Brayden enjoyed being outside for more than a millisecond when getting in and out of the car. Some neighbors were out with their sleds, so Brian and Brayden enjoyed a ride down the hill. Once Gabriella calmed down we got her dressed and took her out for a quick walk.

Not cooperating

Ready to roll

It is going to be a nice lazy day today with the kids. Brian is working from home, because our streets are a mess, and I am going to try not to do too much house work and enjoy the day. We are thinking about walking to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Laredo's for lunch.

I know there really isn't any snow on the ground, just frozen grass, it still worked!

Brian = Johnny Depp? Not so sure

Brian likes to grow facial hair on his vacations. This time he decided he resembled the cover of People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive". You decide!
