We enjoyed last Saturday morning at Riverside Park, in Roswell. They have two awesome playgrounds that both of the kids really enjoy and then the park also has a splash area. Great way to beat the heat at 10 AM on a Saturday morning. Our free Saturdays as a family are coming to an end with football season approaching quickly.

18 Month Pictures
We went to have Brayden's 18 month pictures taken today. Of course I had to buy more than one pose but I think they turned out great.

Gabriella ON A BOAT!!!!
This past Sunday we made a special trip to Lake Lanier with Gabriella in tow, compliments of Justin and Kempten. They were so nice to invite Brian and I as well as Gabriella.
This trip could go two ways, Gabriella loving the boat & lake and having the time of her life, or completely the opposite. Thankfully she loved it!!!! At first when leaving the marina she became very nervous with the waves in the no wake, but once out in more open water she enjoyed herself. Brian and I were very pleased with the whole experience and also we were some proud parents!
Thanks Justin and Kempten for a memorable day!

He understands everything, I mean everything you tell him. He is a great listener. Today I made him throw his own diaper in the trashcan. He was so proud when he came back to sit in my lap.
I think this child, but I am sure I will be wrong, will be easier to potty train. He already sits and tells me what he want to do, so now I have to be consistent and just do it. I have no idea what to do with a little boys sprinkler. I am sure it will be a learning process for all of us.

Cici had a Birthday!
We celebrated my mom's birthday, than none other...Mexican. Our family's favorite! I can remember back to El Torro on Johnsferry Road and thinking what a treat, when my parent's and I would enjoy a meal there. My parent's often ate lunch there and run into each other, not knowing the other would be there, because their places of business was extremely close as well as our house. I know random childhood memories.
Happy Birthday, we all LOVE You!!!!

The 4th of July...a little behind but so be it!
We made it back to the beach in lovely P.C. Beach, FL. There were no signs of oil and hopefully it will stay that way. It was nice to get to the beach one more time this summer. We were able to take a few...400 plus, family pictures minus Lindsay & Jeff :-(, with the help of some amazing friends, Elizabeth & Brian Downey. Brian is really a gifted photographer and really should charge for his services.

Our lovely photographer couple!
It was a pretty chill vacation. The kids, I mean, Brayden enjoyed the fireworks this year. Gabriella made it to the beach and watched from the boardwalk and then fell asleep to be awaken on the beach by fireworks. JOY! She finally calmed down and watched for a minute and then wanted to head back. It rained one afternoon and Brian and Gabriella played in the rain and splashed in the puddles.

1st Haircut
Brayden got his haircut today for the first time. It was more like a trim but the boy needed some relief of his hair our of his eyes. What a cute place we went to, Pigtails & Crewcuts. We hadn't been there before and what a darling shop. Brayden was treated to a taxi car salon chair and a squeaky duck bubble wand while his hair was being snipped. BTW we didn't cut off too many of the curls!
